HTC-CWTS Earns National Recognition for Innovation and Creativity in Health Promotion
GENERAL SANTOS CITY — Holy Trinity College of General Santos City (HTC) marked another significant milestone after its National Service Training Program–Civic Welfare Training Service (NSTP-CWTS) was recognized as the Most Outstanding NSTP-CWTS Health Promotion Program in Innovation and Creativity on September 29, 2026.
The recognition was conferred during an awarding ceremony held at The Farm at Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City, South Cotabato, honoring HTC-CWTS for its innovative, creative, and resourceful approaches in designing and implementing health promotion initiatives.
The award recognizes the program’s efforts to develop transformative initiatives that strengthen health awareness, student engagement, community participation, and social responsibility. It also highlights HTC-CWTS’s continuing commitment to meaningful community engagement and sustainable development through the NSTP program.
The achievement was made possible through the collective efforts of the HTC Administration, CWTS Batch Hiraya officers led by President Erah Marie Durano, CWTS instructors, and CWTS Coordinator Ma’am Meljie M. Servito, M.EdL., LPT.
The institution likewise expressed its appreciation to the Health Promotion Team of the Department of Health for its support and partnership in advancing health promotion initiatives.
The recognition serves as a testament to the dedication and teamwork of the HTC-CWTS community and reinforces the institution’s commitment to developing students who actively contribute to healthier, more engaged, and empowered communities.
