HTC Joins Peace Rally

Holy Trinity College of General Santos City took part in a large-scale peace rally organized by DXCP on Friday, September 19, at Pioneer Avenue, General Santos City.
The gathering, which drew participants from schools, civic groups, and other sectors, aimed to create a strong collective presence to voice out the people’s call for justice and unity. According to organizers, the demonstration sought to form a “critical mass of warm bodies” as a symbol of indignation against injustices experienced by the Filipino people.
Students, faculty, and administrators from Holy Trinity College marched alongside other advocates, carrying placards and banners that called for peace, fairness, and social responsibility. Their participation highlighted the institution’s commitment to forming socially aware citizens and its support for movements that promote justice and solidarity.
The peace rally proceeded peacefully, with participants chanting messages of hope and justice. Organizers emphasized that such demonstrations are vital in raising awareness and encouraging collective action against social issues.
With the active involvement of Holy Trinity College and other institutions, the event underscored the continuing role of schools and youth in advancing peace-building initiatives and in standing up for the rights of the Filipino people.
